Apple Fritter Bread Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

In a small bowl, combine Swerve brown sugar and cinnamon.

In a large bowl, mix Swerve granular sugar and applesauce until blended.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder.

Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with 1/2 cup almond milk.

Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan.

Add half of the apples and half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Add remaining batter, then the rest of the apples and cinnamon-sugar mixture, pressing lightly.

Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If the top browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil during the last 15 minutes.

Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool fully.

For the glaze, whisk Swerve powdered sugar with 2–3 tsp almond milk until smooth.

Drizzle over the cooled bread.
